The show was curated with Saint Laurent’s Anthony Vaccarello; the brand showcased a show of Steve Miesel’s cult 1992 book of photography “Sex,” featuring numerous photos of Madonna and Saint Laurent.
Thirty years on, these images have as much impact and are displayed on a large scale on the walls of the temporary structure; they attract the attention of everyone. Vaccarello was also present at the opening celebration on Thursday evening (the exhibition was on until Sunday). Madonna herself was present at the reception to show her work. The other guests at the party included Zoe Kravitz, Laura Harrier, Hailey Bieber, Rauw Alejandro, Adwoa Abooh, Anja Rubik, Alek Wek, Evan Mock, Grace VanderWaal and Charlotte Lawrence, as well as fashion designers Raf Simons as well as Riccardo Tisci.
After taking pictures, the crowd was taken on a golf cart across the beach to find a shady area where drinks and snacks were served by candlelight.
